Whilst the room is open, there are always moderators present, each an accomplished trader in their own right and highly experienced in using the Tiger Time Lanes  (our special proprietary software used to analyse the market) to make their trading calls. One of the main strengths of the live forex trade room is the diverse nature in which each different moderator trades; each employing different strategies and styles be they short term scalping or longer term swing and day trades. To help guide room attendees all the moderators post trades that they take in the room. This allows the attendees to see how a professional trader uses his Time Lanes and other trading tools to profit from the market.

How Does the Live Trading Room Work?

There are several different aspects to the way our trade room operates.

The screen is split into several sections. There is a participants list showing the moderators and fellow traders. There is a live chat window where you can chat freely with the moderators or other traders, exchange trading idea or look to learn from more experienced traders. There is an Announcements window where all the trade calls are placed (when a moderator takes a trade on his platform it is automatically announced for the room to see. Finally, there is the projection window where the TimeLanes software is projected so that traders can relate easily to what a moderator might be saying in a ‘mic’ session and cross analyse multiple forex pairs.

It relies mainly on the purist indicator of all, price, combining it with fibonacci extensions to give a real time indication of where price is likely to change direction. Its unique feaure is the ability to watch multiple time frames (up to nine) on just one chart.

The TimeLanes are built around the concept that understanding forex price action and how price can cycle through different stages is important, particularly for short term and scalping trades. Trading Styles

Watch Live Forex Trading Each moderator brings their own unique trading style to the room. There are a wide variety of trade types taken from forex scalping to longer term swing and position trades. As scalping involves short term trades a lot of the trades are scalps. However, longer term trades are not forgotten. Indeed, make up an important staple of the trades taken. Harmonics patterns play an important part in the longer term analysis for determining potential set ups with the TimeLanes used for precision of the entries and exits. We also have specific “London Close” strategy that we use regularly to great effect.

The live forex trading room aims to cover all major trading periods with live “mic” sessions where the moderator will commentate on current price action and call out his trades in real time. On Monday to Friday there are live mic sessions for London Open 8.00-9.30am (3.00-4.30am EST) and New York Open 1.15-3.00pm (8.15-10.00am EST). In addition on, some days there will be other sessions for covering important news releases .

One thing we look to maintain is the incredible camaraderie that is present within the room helped by the many professional traders who are constantly helping less experienced traders. It is important to remember that trading is more than just the ability to find the best moment to enter the market but also about seeing the trade through both in the physical and psychological sense.
